Ohio has one of the top rankings in the second annual analysis of state charter school oversight policies across the nation released today by the National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA). Ohio school report cards will be released in two parts next year, with the initial report in mid-January and the remaining information available in late February, according to the Ohio Department of Education. ODE will release an initial report Thursday, January 14, 2016, including grades on three components: K-3 literacy, graduation rates and prepared for success. A new NAPCS report on charter school enrollment in the U.S. shows the Dayton City School District and Cleveland Municipal School District now have 30% of their students enrolled in charter schools.
